This site may not be visually stunning, but I will keep working away to improve things where I can. Some of the best bits of it are things that I have borrowed from other people. I am very grateful to the kindness of the people who give away their work for others to use, free of charge. I have adapted things here and there to try to keep a consistent theme throughout the site, but without the original images I would have had nothing to work with - my photography skills are nothing compared to these guys.
Thankyou!

This image is cropped from an image of some old books which I found on deviantart.com. Liam Quin, the photographer of the original image, maintains an interesting site about old books which I would recommend you go and have a look at. I spent an interesting few minutes browsing through this dictionary of old slang words.

This image of a spiders web was cropped from an image created by Christophe Libert. The original can be found on the Stock Exchange web site. There are a lot more examples of Christophe's work on his personal homepage on the deviant art site.

This old typewriter was photographed by Andrew Eldridge, who works in graphic design. I found the original on the Stock Exchange web site.

An image of cardboard. I had to do a bit of work on this one in the Gimp image editing software, to make it tile nicely. The original source image came from the lost and taken site, which has a great selection of background textures.
